Meet Joyce Florence
Founder, Visionary, and Tea Enthusiast
Joyce Florence’s journey into the world of tea was anything but expected. Growing up in Murang’a, Kenya, tea farming was a way of life. After school, instead of playing with friends, Joyce spent her days planting, pruning, and harvesting tea alongside her parents, whose hard work in the fields provided for her and her eight siblings’ education. This daily grind left her with a strong aversion to tea—something she never imagined she would revisit.
Fast forward to her career in Germany, where she worked for a German company. It was here that Joyce encountered something that changed her perspective completely: value-added teas. The rich aromas, exquisite flavors, and visual appeal of the teas she tasted captivated her, and she couldn’t help but think, “If tea could taste this good and look so beautiful, my family deserves to experience this!” Determined to share these amazing teas, she brought back a variety of value-added and herbal teas to Kenya for her family to enjoy.
